POLICE Scotland is appealing for information after a house was broken into in over the weekend.
It comes after a house was broken into on Middleton Street in Alexandria, where a 22-inch television and bank card were stolen.
The incident took place between midday on Saturday and 1pm on Monday.
Detective constable Nicky Beattie, of Clydebank CID, said: “Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in relation to this incident to try and trace the person or persons responsible.
“We are appealing anyone who has any information to come forward.
“Did you notice anyone acting suspiciously in the area over the weekend? Have you been offered a television?
“We urge you to come forward.
“Officers are also working with the victim and those in the local community with regards to crime prevention and support.”
