An urgent appeal has been launched for toy donations in Glasgow's East End after an admin disaster could leave children with nothing.
Parkhead social workers were expecting a delivery of 1,000 presents to give out to children on Tuesday.
However, due to an admin error, the gifts did not arrive, leaving the children and families team just one day to find replacements.

The team is urgently asking for donations ahead of their deadline of this evening.
Some generous locals have already donated but are still looking for a number of presents for kids aged from one-month-old to 16-years-old.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact janine.fraser@glasgow.gov.uk or drop items off at SWS, Springfield Road, G31 4HZ.
