A DEVASTATED sister wants to know what happened to her missing brother who vanished more than two months ago - while cops continue their search.

Tom Graham was last seen by a family member in Elderpark Street, Govan in mid-October.

Police say it is usual for the 30-year-old not to be in regular contact - but not for this length of time. His family therefore reported him missing to the force on November 26.

Glasgow Times:

His tearful sister Sarah, 31, said: “Tom, my brother, is a father of two children. He is loved by the family.

“Tom would come to my home all the time at least every two or three weeks but I have not seen or spoken to him since mid-October.

“Tom if you are hearing me, please let someone know that you are okay.

“You have not done anything wrong, so please let me know you are okay.

“If anyone has information about Tom, please let the police know. We just want to know if Tom is okay or what has happened to him. “

Chief Inspector Shaheen Baber, Area Commander for Govan, said that an incident room as has been set up at Helen Street Police Office for officers to investigate the father-of-two’s disappearance.

Investigating officers believe that former labourer Tom has no money or mobile phone on him. The force also said that he is well-known in the Govan area where he regularly uses bicycles. He also frequents Drumchapel and Toryglen.

The top cop also said that they cannot rule out that he may have come to harm.

He said: “Due to the length of time that has passed where he has not be in touch, it is quite possible, however, at this stage it is a missing person enquiry and we are making sure that we are keeping all avenues and thoughts in mind. Our main priority at this time is to find Tom as soon as possible safe and well.”

Tom is described as around 6ft tall, with a medium/muscular build.

He has several distinctive tattoos including the name ‘Sophie’ on the right side of his neck, an image of a black panther on his right calf and a tattoo on his right forearm. He also has a distinct birthmark on the left side of his neck.

Anyone with information is requested to contact Helen Street Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 1844 of Monday 26 November 2018.
