LAST minute shoppers were hit travelling from Glasgow after a signalling fault was discovered between Paisley and the city.
An issue on the Paisley Gilmour Street line means that revised and delayed journeys will be taking place on Monday morning.
However, delays will be fully fixed by 10.15am.
Thousands of shoppers are expected to hit the city to pick up their final gifts ahead of the big day.
ScotRail posted on Twitter: "Network Rail have advised us of a fault with the signalling system between GlasgowCentral and Paisley Gilmour Street. Services will be delayed or revised, please check your journey before setting off."

The rail providers also announced that Cardonald, Hillington East and Hillington West will not be served as a result of the problem.
Issues are only affecting trains travelling towards Paisley
As a result, tickets will now be accepted on First Bus services 3, 9, 9A and 10 serving Cardonald and Hillington.
Passengers can also use the route from Paisley Canal.
