Police Scotland previously said that a post mortem examination was due to take place to establish the cause of death which was being treated as unexplained.

Now, friends of Celtic fan Declan want to raise money for his funeral.

A friend of the family shared a link to the fundraising drive on a Celtic fan page and said: "My friend's brother tragically died on December 23 and he was a massive Celtic fan. I know times are hard just after Xmas but would really appreciate if you could help the family give him the send of he deserves."

The post was also accompanied with an image of Declan with Hoops star Kieran Tierney.
