EMERGENCY services are dealing with an incident in Glasgow's South Side prompting the closure of the railway line.
Scotrail advised passengers that the incident happened between Queen's Park and Cathcart, and provided no further details over what happened.
The rail firm added that they were working closely with British Transport Police.
Services between Glasgow Central and Neilston have been diverted in the meantime. They will run non-stop between Muirend and Glasgow Central in both directions.
Glasgow Central to Newton Services will be diverted and run non-stop between Kings Park and Glasgow Central in both directions.
If you are travelling to Newton station, you can use services from Glasgow Central low level.
Scotrail tickets and Smartcards will also be accepted on a number of First Glasgow buses including 3, 4/A, 5, 6, 7/A, 18, 21, 31, 34/A, 38, 57/A, 75, 90. Just show your ticket to the driver when you board.
British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
