A SECURITY guard has been robbed leaving a bank in Glasgow's East End.
The Evening Times understands he was targeted on Duke Street near the Forge Shopping Centre.
Officers are currently at the scene of the RBS at the Forge Shopping Centre.
Police Scotland confirmed their attendance following the incident at 2.30pm.
It is not known how the robbers carried out the raid and if the security guard was injured during the incident.
Meanwhile, a car was found alight in nearby Carntyne.
Cops confirmed that one line of enquiry is that the two incidents are connected.
An eyewitness told the Evening Times that three men left the vehicle before setting it on fire.
The force said it could not provide any further details on suspects at this stage.
It is also unknown how much was taken during the raid.
