TRAFFIC is beginning to build on Glasgow's busiest motorways as thousands make their way home after a long work day.
Traffic Scotland reports roads are fairly quiet this evening with public transport understood to be running smoothly.

However, the congestion is building on the M8 westbound at the secondary carriageway's merge with the M77 near to Kinning Park.
While the M8 Kingston Bridge is busy in both directions with queues stretching from junction 25 Cardonald to junction 16 Craighall eastbound and junction 16 to junction 22 Kinning Park westbound.
