An investigation has been launched after a man was seriously assaulted in Shettleston.
The 29-year-old was attacked around 9.30pm on Friday before being taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
An area of the street was cordoned off by police, including a Ladbrokes bookies and nearby pub on Shettleston Road.

The victim was treated for his injuries and later released but police are still looking for the person responsible.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "A 29-year-old man was seriously assaulted around 9.30pm.
"He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.
"Enquiries are continuing."
