Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who injured a pensioner in Motherwell.
The 67-year-old man was injured by the car on Airbles Street, near to Albion Tower, around 7.15pm on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the man was taken to Wishaw General for treatment.
The car failed to stop and continued on to Windmillhill Street.
Officers are now carrying out enquiries, including checking CCTV footage and making door-to-door enquiries.
Anyone with information or possible dash-cam footage from the area is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 2954 of Thursday 3 January 2019.
