A man suffered a face injury in a "targeted attack" in Glasgow this morning.
The 42-year-old was seriously assaulted at around 11.10am on Saturday at the corner of Gordon Street and Mitchell Street in the city centre.
The Evening Times previously reported on how a police cordon had been set up outside Eat.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "The injured man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated for a facial injury.
"Detectives are treating this as a targeted attack and their investigation is continuing to trace the person responsible."
