ENQUIRIES are ongoing after a man was found injured in an attack outside a City Centre McDonald’s.
Emergency services raced to the restaurant - at the Four Corners - on Sunday night.
He was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for his injuries.
The incident is believed to have taken place at around 10.50pm and the police investigation is ongoing.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to a report of a man found injured near McDonald's in Argyle Street.
"He was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and released after treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 10.51pm on Sunday, January 13 to attend an incident on Argyle Street in Glasgow.
“We dispatched a Paramedic Response Unit and one ambulance to the scene.
“We transported one male patient in his twenties to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
