CELTIC and Rangers have been named as two of the best-supported clubs in Europe in a UEFA report into the state of European football.
‘The European club footballing landscape’ is an annual report published by European football’s governing body detailing the financial and social health of football across the continent.
Celtic had the ninth-highest aggregate attendance of any European club last season, with 1,092,937 supporters attending league games last season - slightly fewer than Inter Milan in tenth position.
Celtic are one of just 15 clubs that brought in over 1 million spectators during the 2017/18 season.
Rangers, on the other hand, had the 19th-highest attendance overall, with 934,306 fans going to Ibrox last season, leaving the club just above Paris Saint Germain in the standings.
The Scottish Premiership had the seventh-highest average attendance of any European nation, with 15,986 fans attending top flight games on average.
