Falling snow on M74 causing tailbacks this morning
FALLING snow on the M74 is causing tailbacks this morning.
Traffic Scotland raised the issue on its Twitter page just after 8am, showing images of heavy congestion on the motorway.
Queues are being seen on the route northbound, from junction 7 Larkhall to junction 6 Hamilton and also from junction 5 Raith to junction 1a Polmadie Road.

Traffic is also heavier than normal on the M77.
