A FRESH weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for Glasgow and the majority of Scotland.
It comes a day after the city and its surrounding areas shivered in subzero temperatures as heavy snowfall hit many parts, affecting traffic and air travel.
The latest yellow “be aware” warning will come into effect from 6pm on Wednesday (today), lasting until 11am on Thursday.
The Met Office said: “Icy stretches are again likely on some surfaces on Wednesday night into Thursday morning

“Ice on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths leading to longer journey times should be expected.
“Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces should also be expected.”
This evening, wintry showers and snow away from coasts will develop more widely for a time before dying out overnight.
In between long clear spells, ice will form on untreated surfaces, with the mercury expected to plummet to as low as -3C.
Thursday will see a frosty start to a dry morning with sunny spells developing later.
