A CAR used in a robbery at the Glasgow Fort has been covered in Edinburgh.

The Audi was stolen near the capital used in the break in at Tessuti around 2am this morning.

It's understood around £40,000 worth of merchandise was taken.

Edinburgh Police confirmed the car was also used to rob a jewellers in the city.

The vehicle was recovered around 3.30am in Ratho.

Police said: "An Audi stolen from a home in Buckstone Loan and then used during break-ins a clothing stores and jewellers in the Capital and The Fort shopping centre in Glasgow was recovered in Ratho at 3.30am today.
