LOVE Island’s Eyal Booker was suffering as he flew into Glasgow to take part in a new series of a popular telly show.

This seasons Pointless Celebs will see Eyal alongside Shiela Ferguson from Three Degrees try their hand at answering quiz questions.

Sweet lad Eyal, who I last caught up with at Christmastime, has been trying to keep a clear mind during filming of the show at BBC HQ but his man flu was making him blurry.

In the end, a BBC doctor has to give him some nasal drops and menthol tissue.

Eyal, who is staying at the trendy Radisson Red and has been trying to sweat out his cold in the gym, said: “The medic on set just saved my life. I could go home a happy man right now.”

Keeping it in the family was a mistake for heckle victim Jay

COMEDIAN and writer Jay Lafferty told me she’s keen to avoid inviting any family members to her next comedy performance.

Breaking The News funny gal Jay who is taking part in this year’s Comedy Festival and last night helped to raise money for Amnesty International at The Stand told me she was heckled by one of her rellies.

She said: “Three quarters of the way in to my show I began to be heckled by my brand new sister in law. Thanks Hannah!”

Breaking The News has also just been commissioned for the new BBC Scotland channel in February so we’ll be seeing a lot more of Jen on our screens.

I've gone all trainspotter over secret life under Central Station

I’M obsessed about the hidden village of Grahamston in Glasgow after attending the Radisson Blu’s new Bar launch.

According to the history books there’s a hidden village underneath Central Station that vanished more than 100 years ago.

I celebrated this fact with Heart Radio’s Paul Harper and Lynne Hogan at a big launch party in the Radisson along with cocktails and canapés and bags of style.

Trev Saxsingh provided live sax over the dance tracks while Guy And Beard even offered free shaves (one for the men more than the ladies) .

Since then I’ve been looking into it more and I’m told that the Grant Arms beside Central Station is an actual relic of Grahamston.

The Main Street Alston Street is apparently buried underneath platforms three and four in Central Station.

Totally geeked out.
