POLICE have releases images of a man and woman who may have information that could help officers investigating a robbery that took place in Glasgow City Centre.

The force said, at around 12.45am on Friday, October 12 2018, a 22-year-old woman was on Hope Street speaking to two others when she was assaulted and robbed of her mobile phone.

The two people with the victim tried to intervene and also received minor injuries.

The man is described as white with a local accent, aged approximately late twenties/early thirties, is 5ft 10 in height and of medium build.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing matching khaki green Nike jogging bottoms and hooded zipper top The female is described as white with a local accent, aged late twenties to early thirties, 5ft 7 in height and of small build.

At time of the offence, she was wearing a green khaki parka jacket with a fur-trimmed hood, ripped black skinny jeans and black pump shoes.

They took turns wearing a black North Face baseball cap and were carrying a red Cex bag.
