A DRIVER has been fined for failing to scrape away the ice from their car windows.
The motorist was caught in West Dunbartonshire yesterday morning and slapped with a fine for failing to have a full view out the car.
Police warned they will be out in force to keep an eye on drivers so those looking to rush off of a morning are being urged to ensure their car is ready to go before doing so.
The Road Policing Unit said: "Please remember to fully defrost your vehicle prior to driving and give yourself extra time for your journey.
"The conditions are freezing and the road conditions are hazardous so be mindful of this and take extra care."
