SCOTTISH punk rock band The Skids will headline a special outdoor event at Kelvingrove Bandstand.
The group, led by vocalist Richard Jobson, will be joined by fellow Fifers and 80s rock mainstays Big Country alongside Edinburgh punk veterans The Rezillos for the gig on Friday, June 28.
Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am from www.432presents.com
With a combined songbook containing some of the most instantly recognisable songs in contemporary Scottish music - whether it be Big Country’s anthemic ‘In a Big Country’; The Rezillos’ jagged pop gem ‘Top of the Pops’ or The Skid’s singalong-heavy ‘Into the Valley’ - this is an opportunity to enjoy the nation’s rock history.
Organisers are hailing the event as a summer highlight at a venue where just 22 events are held each year.
