An honest tradesman who returned a long-lost wedding ring after finding it on a job has been nominated for a national award.
Hardworking Boyan Metrashev was working on a flat in Glasgow that a family was looking to sell when he made the discovery and handed it back to the owner, Debbie Hepburn.
Debbie was so impressed with the Paisley-based builder that she has put the Metrashev Property Maintenance and Renovations worker forward for the MyBuilder Job of the Year competition.

The story of honesty and selflessness comes after Boyan also did such a fantastic job on the flat.
The homeowner wrote: "Boyan kept to timescales and communicated clearly. He did a brilliant job of a very dirty flat, and was reasonably priced for the work.
“He also demonstrated his honesty when he found an old wedding ring and kept it for me.
“I then recommended him to other family members, and he did an excellent job there too!”

The competition aims to find the tradespeople in the country - the person or team who went above and beyond to do a brilliant job.
Over 1,400 homeowners from all over the UK have already entered.
MyBuilder CEO and Founder Ryan Notz said: “Tradesmen up and down the country are hard at work every day doing amazing jobs in people’s homes.
"Here at MyBuilder, we’re always looking for ways to celebrate the work they do, and the Job of the Year competition is our chance to congratulate those that went the extra mile.”
