A SOUTH SIDE bar will celebrate the work of one of cinema's best known comedians with a film festival in his name next months.
The Butterfly and the Pig South in Shawlands have announced plans to hold four screenings of the work of Jim Carrey in March.

Chosen by the public, films included in Alrighty Then - The Jim Carrey Film Fest are currently being chosen by the public in an online poll.
Each ticket is for two people and includes a main meal from a themed menu - dishes will be based on Jim Carrey references.
Entry to the show also comes with popcorn too.

The showings will take place on each Thursday evening in March.
The film is being run by the White Elephant Film Club, a reference to a 1,900 seater cinema which was open in Shawlands in 1927.
