Police have descended on a convenience store following reports of an armed robbery.
Emergency services were called to Scotmid on Ledi Drive in Bearsden around 7.15pm this evening following an 'incident'.
There not believe to be any injuries as a result of the robbery and police remain on the scene.
The area has been cordoned off while enquiries into the incident are carried out.

Locals have taken to a Bearsden community social media page to express their shock.
One resident said: "My friend messaged me and said it was held up at gunpoint.
"As far as he knew no one was hurt. Absolutely horrific for the staff and anyone who was shopping."
Another added: "Just to say Scotmid closed off just now. Not sure what has happened but it's been taped off with police vans at the location. Just hope all staff and anyone else not injured harmed."
