FIVE young teenagers have reportedly attacked a man in his fifties at a Glasgow train station.

British Transport Police (BTP) said its officers are now appealing for information following the assault at Exhibition Centre station.

The incident happened at 7.25pm on Saturday, February 9.

A group of five boys, aged between 16 and 17-years-old, are reported to have attacked the victim, a man aged in his fifties, at the booking office window following a disagreement.

All then left the area.

The victim is reported to have suffered bruising to his eye.

The suspects are described as:

  • Slim build and wearing a black jacket with the hood up, black trousers and black and silver Nike trainers
  • Slim build, short dark hair shaved at the sides and wearing black glasses, a black puffer jacket, white tracksuit trousers with black and silver Nike trainers
  • Slim build, short black hair, and wearing a navy blue rain jacket with a grey tracksuit top underneath and black tracksuit bottoms
  • Slim build, short black hair and wearing a red rain jacket with a black North Face puffer jacket underneath, and black trousers and grey trainers
  • Slim build and wearing a black beanie hat, a grey jumper, blue trousers and grey trainers
