A PERSON is being treated in hospital after police received a report of a body in the River Clyde this morning.
The Evening Times reported previously how emergency services swarmed Broomielaw in Glasgow, close to the Grosvenor Casino Riverboat, just before 7.30am.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has since confirmed someone was taken to hospital.

A spokesman said: “We received a call today at 7.33am to attend an incident on the River Clyde in Glasgow.
“We dispatched two ambulances, our special operations team and an Advanced Paramedic Unit to the scene.

“We conveyed one patient to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
Details of gender or age are not known at this stage.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman earlier said: “We were requested at 7.26am to assist emergency service partners at the River Clyde in Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised a water rescue crew to Broomielaw.
“Firefighters assisted their emergency service colleagues and thereafter left the scene.”
