A £7 MILLION upgrade in Yoker has been hit by a delay.
Dyke Road, which closed on January 28 from Dumbarton Road to Craggan Drive, should have reopened on Tuesday.
But "unforeseen circumstances" have led to a delay and it is now expectd Dyke Road will remain closed for a further two weeks.
Scottish Water said the environmental improvement project in Yoker will help improve the water quality and natural environment of the River Clyde and tackle flooding issues.
The work is being delivered by George Leslie Ltd and will enable the completion of a storm overflow tunnel from the grounds of the former Blawarthill Hospital to the north banks of the Clyde.
The Yoker work is part of Scottish Water’s £250m investment in the Greater Glasgow area’s waste water network.
