A BROKEN down van is causing chaos for drivers on the M8 this morning.
Traffic Scotland raised the alarm on Twitter just before 8am.

The team wrote: “*NEW* 07:48⌚#M8 W/B J13 Provan - J14 Fruit Market - lane 3 ⛔ due to a broken down van in existing congestion. Traffic back past J12 Riddrie.@ScotTranserv.”

Ten minutes later, the closed lanes were back up and running again. However, Traffic Scotland warned that things were looking really busy in the area.
