A fundraising page has been set-up to help the owner of a house deliberately set on fire in Milton.
A friend of the Scaraway Street resident said he had been away working in Aberdeen when the blaze took hold of his house.
The contents of the home are said to be 'destroyed'.
Pictures included on the fundraising page show household items including mattresses, cabinets and lamp shades that have fire-damaged.
