Tributes have been paid to a popular Drumchapel man found dead.

Dean Shades, 25, was discovered by police inside a property on Carolside Drive, in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow, at 12.30am on Sunday morning.

Friends and family of the Celtic fan have flooded social media with tributes to the 'one a kind' man.

Dean's sister Shelby updated her Facebook profile picture to one of her brother.

The post was flooded with messages of condolence from loved ones.

One well-wisher wrote: "Thinking of you all. Lots of great memories with dean, sending loads of love."

Another added: "So so sorry for your loss Shelby. Heart goes out to you and your family."

A post by Drumchapel Csc Celtic supporters group said they had lost a wee character.

They said: "Broken hearted that we’ve lost this wee character. Sleep tight Dean Shades, god bless."

The post has been shared over 120 times and has been flooded with messages.

Barry Mckenna wrote: "RIP wee man you will never be forgotten."

Stephen Owens added: "Rest easy deano you where one of a kind my man."

Alex Grimes shared the post, writing: "Absolutely shocked.Rest easy Dean thoughts are with family and friends. Such a 1 in a million boy."

Dean's body was discovered just after midnight at the Glasgow property.

Police confirmed that they are not treating the death as suspicious.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At approximately 12.30am on Sunday, March 3rd, the body of a 25-year-old man was found.

"Officers were called to a property on Carolside Drive, in Drumchapel, Glasgow.

"Officers are treating the death as not suspicious. A post mortem will take place in due course.

"Report will be submitted to procurator fiscal."
