TWO incredible Scots bridesmaids are in the running to be declared the best in Britain.

Hannah Munro, from Glasgow, and Laura Thompson, from Cumbernaul beat out hundreds of entries to make the top 14 of Britain's Best Bridesmaid.

The ladies, who are aged 24 and 27-years-old respectively, will now compete to be crowned Red7's winner and nab a luxury spa weekend in London to share with the bride.

Bride Jennifer Mackay, who nominated pal Laura: “Laura gave birth to her first son just seven weeks before the wedding and then her gran died three weeks before. She soldiered on.

“She made a wedding advent calendar and drove an hour to my home with it a week before the wedding as a surprise. She also organised four hen parties! She’s showed what a truly amazing friend she really is.”

While, Emily Munro, nominated her twin sister and maid of honour Hannah.

She said, “My sister had a massive allergic reaction the day before the wedding and she took it all in her stride, despite being in agony all day.

"You would never have known - she was beyond selfless.”
