A FUNDRAISING page has been set up in memory of tragic Bishopbriggs teenager Michael McDowall.
Laura Crawford, a family friend, has set up the Facebook fundraiser in a bid to help cover the costs of the 16-year-old's funeral.
As previously reported, Michael was found in a stream in Kirkintilloch on Saturday.

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but died shortly after.
Laura wrote: "Sadly on March 2, 2019, Michael passed away due to tragic circumstances.
"I want to help the family in anyway I can at this sad time, any help would be grateful and will go towards funeral costs and many other things to get them through this.

"Michael was the loveliest 16-year-old boy you could ever meet, he’ll be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
"Fly high wee guy, you’ll never be forgotten."
The page has already smashed its £500 target with £1,370 raised in just 48 hours.
