BLACK ice has been wreaking havoc across Glasgow this morning - with one main road deemed “impassable” by First Bus.
As reported by the Evening Times on Sunday, the Met Office put a warning for snow and ice into place which remains in effect until 10am Monday.
First Glasgow warned of issues with black ice in Springburn at around 9.30am.

The bus provider said on Twitter: “Balgrayhill Road is impassable due to black ice. Services 88 and 87 will be using Springburn Expressway.”
Glasgow City Council, along with other people from across the city, have been taking to social media Monday morning to warn of the dangers of the ice.
Please take extra care this morning when travelling on untreated surfaces due to risk of black ice.

Looking to Tuesday, the Met Office said: “Winds will strengthen on Tuesday morning with severe gales at the coasts. It will be mainly dry and bright at first, but blustery showers will soon develop with heavier rain in the afternoon. The maximum temperature will be 7°C.”
