DETECTIVES are on the hunt for a masked man who robbed a G4S worker at knifepoint.
As previously reported, the thug was wearing dark clothes and a balaclava when he approached the 52-year-old outside the Bank of Scotland in Smithycroft Road, Riddrie, around 10.15am on Tuesday.
Police are now urging the public to come forward with information.

Detective Sergeant Neil Guy, of the Community Investigation Unit at Helen Street Police Office, said: “The masked man got into the passenger seat of a dark coloured Audi A4 and made off from the scene and headed south towards Riddrie Knowes.
“This vehicle was later found burn-out in Riddrie Crescent and is currently undergoing extensive forensic examination for any evidence that will assist our investigation.
“We have had a good response from members of the public following our earlier appeal. However, I still need anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the robbery to get in touch with the enquiry team.

“If you have dashcam footage that has captured the incident you should come forward as soon as possible.”
