A MAN has been charged in connection with the recovery of £102,000 worth of cannabis resin in Bellshill.
Around 11.05am on Thursday, officers from Lanarkshire Division stopped a car on Clydesdale Road, Mossend. Following a search a quantity of Cannabis Resin was recovered.
A 51 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery and is due before Hamilton Sheriff Court today.

Inspector Keith Campbell of Bellshill Police Office said: “We remain committed to tackling drugs in our local communities and our enforcement activity will continue.
“We rely on information from the public to help identify those committing crimes in our area and I would encourage anyone to report criminality by contacting police through 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
