Pupils from Hillhead High and Jordanhill School were among today's music festival winners.
String quartets from both schools shared the Chamber Music B section prize at Glasgow Music Festival.
Meanwhile, Paul Docherty walked away having won both the St Mungo Challenge Trophy Certificate and the Grace Dick Memorial Prize.
The city's annual festival of music, speech, drama and dance was first held in 1911. Each year around 7,000 performers take part in the two-week festival.
