A 20-year-old woman has died after being discovered badly burned on wasteground in Glasgow's east end, police have confirmed.
The as yet unnamed woman was rushed to hospital after emergency service workers discovered her on waste ground near Tobago Street at around 5:45pm Friday evening.
She later died in hospital, and police are currently treating the death as 'unexplained'.
A Police Spokeswoman explained to the Evening Times: "At around 5:45pm on Friday evening police and emergency service were called after a woman was found badly burned on wasteground off Tobago Street in the east end of Glasgow.
"Emergency Services attended but the 20-year-old woman later died in hospital.
"Relatives have been made aware, and there will be a post mortem in due course.
"The death is as of yet being treated as unexplained."
