EVENING Times readers have been reacting today after we reported how a West End music festival has been cancelled.

It comes after plans to hold the event in Kelvingrove Park were rejected by Glasgow City Council.

As exclusively reported by us last week, council bosses refused organisers of the West End Fiesta permission to use the public park for a second year, due to the impact it would have on local residents.

Organisers have now said that the festival will not be going ahead for 2019, despite dates being confirmed and tickets going on sale.

This is what you’ve been saying:

Usual nimbys thinking it’s their god given right to dictate what goes on and when in this park, this park is for ALL residents on Glasgow, NOT local residents - Christopher Quinn
