OUR Lady's High School in Motherwell will surely be celebrating today with a huge 18 percentage point rise from last year.
In 2018, the school saw 45 per cent of pupils leaving with three or more Highers while this year it has soared to third on the North Lanarkshire league table with 63.

At the top of the league table sits Dalziel High School, moving up from third place last year.
Braidhurst High School has the lowest performance rate in the local authority, coming last with 27 per cent of pupils gaining three or more Highers.
In South Lanarkshire Strathaven High School, which has no pupils from Scotland's most deprived postcodes, tops the league table with 70 per cent of pupils leaving school with three plus Highers.

It has risen one place from last year, knocking St Andrew's and St Bride's into second place.
Larkhall Academy, which has 33 per cent of pupils coming from the most deprived postcodes, sits at the bottom of the league table with 36 per cent of pupils leaving with three or more Highers.
