A GLASGOW housing association has received an international award for excellence.
Queens Cross Housing Association, which manages around 4,300 homes in north west Glasgow, was recognised for their work improving tenants services.
They were awarded the Excellence Award by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). As a member of the EFQM organisations are able to demonstrate how they are performing against global standards.
Three projects were submitted for evaluation by Queens Cross, which assessed how successful they were at giving something back to the community through "environmental improvements, charitable contributions, the implementation of new tenant management software and a project to improve customer resolution at the first point of contact".
Margaret Brannan, Queens Cross's business strategy manager, said: "We have an excellent track record in providing quality housing but we cannot stand still.
"EFQM provides us with a framework and independent validation to allow us to continue to provide better services to tenants to help improve their quality of life."
