Forensic officers have taped off a residential estate close to the River Clyde.
Emergency services are believed to have been called to the scene at Riverview Place last night and remain there this morning.
An area at the waterfront properties near the Tradeston Bridge and Bonnypack has been cordoned off.
Large amounts of blood and evidence markers can be seen inside the cordon.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
