A MAN was rushed to hospital with serious leg injuries after he was hit by a car in Hamilton.
Around 11.20pm on Thursday, the 38-year-old was walking along Burnhouse Crescent when a silver Range Rover deliberately drove at him, knocking him down.
The car then drove off at speed along Neilsland Road, before disappearing out of sight.

Emergency services attended and he was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment where his condition is described as stable.
Detective Sergeant Ronnie Douglas from Cambuslang CID said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Burnhouse Crescent or Neilsland Road and either witnessed the incident, or noticed a silver Range Rover driving erratically, to please get in touch.

“I would also urge any motorists with dashcams who were in the vicinity to check their footage in case they have captured anything which could be of significance.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Cambuslang CID via 101.
