GET ready for another masterful showcase of Great British stand-up in Colwyn Bay this weekend.

The Station's resident monthly comedy club Stand-up at the Seaside returns on Saturday featuring some of the fastest rising stars of the UK comedy.

Taking place on the last Saturday of every month, Stand-up at Seaside was established upstairs at the Station Pub in Colwyn Bay nearly two years ago and is fast establishing a reputation as one of the best comedy clubs in the North West.

This month comedy lovers can get to know Scott Bennett, who has made his name as one of the leading lights on the circuit after supporting Rob Brydon on his recent tour as well as being crowned the Comedy Cellar New Act of the Year 2011, and runner-up of English Comedian Of The Year 2014.

The Yorkshireman’s everyman appeal is guaranteed to leave the audience in stitches, delivering sharply written observations on the absurdity of modern living.

Bennet will this month be joined by the returning Brennan Reece, another rising star who holds a best newcomer nomination from the Edinburgh fringe and recently featured on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle.

Even more support is provided by the acidic tongue of Mancunian comic Sean Moran.

There is also an audience joke competition with prizes and the evening is hosted by local MC Dave Rothnie

Tickets are £12.50, parties of four or more people can also reserve a table, for more information or to book please contact The Station on 01492 532818 or Mr Rothnie on dcrothnie@gmail.com.
