Police in Glasgow are appealing for help after a vulnerable Govanhill man was reported missing. 

James Kindred, 23, was last seen at around 4.50am on Sunday morning leaving his home in Allison Street. 

He is described as white, 5ft5, thin build with dark hair and heavy stubble. He was wearing a black zipper, dark coloured jeans and dark trainers.

Officers have now called of the public to help trace James. 

Inspector John McCartin from Cathcart Police Station said: “James is vulnerable and it is absolutely vital that we trace him as soon as possible.

“He is known to spend time in Govan, Hampden and the wider Glasgow area and we would urge anyone who recognises James or has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

“We would also appeal to James directly to get in touch with someone, he is not in any trouble, we just want to confirm that he is safe and well.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Cathcart Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 0947 of Sunday 24 March 2019. Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.”
