AN SNP politician claimed a "racist nutter" mounted the pavement and drove towards a woman on her way to the mosque.
James Dornan, MSP for Glasgow Cathcart, said his pal's wife was making her way to collect her children from the mosque when the incident occurred.

The woman was then allegedly told a similar incident had happened to another mother earlier in the week.
Taking to Twitter he said: "Just got a message from one of my best mates to me some racist nutter mounted the pavement at his wife today as she went to collect her kids from mosque.

It's not yet known where the alleged incident took place or if it was reported to police.
However, the claims sparked outrage online with the tweet gathering hundreds of likes and retweets.
