TRENDY Finnieston favourite Nonya has shocked foodie fans by suddenly closing its doors - and refusing to offer refunds.
After rumours swirled on social media, the Asian bar and restaurant confirmed the decision on Facebook.
Having been open for just one year, fans of the eaterie hoped the rumours were just that.
But, while the website is still up and running, the restaurant has officially closed.
Bosses have now shared on Facebook: “It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that we must inform you Nonya shall cease to trade with immediate effect.
"We have unfortunately succumbed to the current financial climate and our restaurant and bar are not financially viable.
"We had some great times and we hope you have had too.”
Despite thanking customers for "loyalty", the restaurant's owners said it would not be issuing any refunds but may in the future.
The statement added: “We are unfortunately not in a position to make any refunds at this point in time.
"But that does not mean to say the company will not be able to in the future.”
