THE family of a tragic Celtic fan have appealed to football supporters to hold a round of applause for the teen who died just four days before his 15th birthday at the Old Firm.

Kyle Stevens is understood to have passed away at his home in Hamilton on Saturday.

Pals have paid tribute to the "most precious boy in the world" on social media.

One wrote: "Never forgetting you my boy."

A friend said: "Gutted, will always love you bro."

Another added: "R.I.P mate, nicest boy you could meet man, taken to soon, will never be forgotten."

While his devastated grandparents said: "Our beautiful boy, love you forever x gran and grampa."

Now, Hoops community groups are calling on fans from both sides to celebrate the youngster's life during the 14th minute of the Parkhead side's clash with the Ibrox team on Sunday.

Thousands of people have already backed the pledge, with one tweet gathering more than 3,200 likes and 1,200 retweets.
