Celtic and Rangers fans travelling to today's match have been advised by ScotRail to expect delays, as engineering works are taking place across several rail lines.

Today's match will see Celtic and Rangers play in front of a capacity Celtic Park crowd, and ScotRail have insisted that fans purchase train tickets before they board, helping ensure that services continue to run as smoothly as possible.

Fans are warned that several trains have indeed been cancelled and replacement bus services put in place.

People travelling between Glasgow and South Lanarkshire will be the most inconvenienced.

Services affected include Blantyre, Hamilton, Cambuslang, Dalmarnock, Bridgeton and several other main stations.

Replacement buses will be running throughout the day to minimise any increased disruption caused by the ongoing and necessary engineering works.
