A MAN has been stabbed in a vicious broad daylight attack in Drumchapel.

The 41-year-old was injured in Heathcot Avenue around 11.20am this morning.

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

It's understood the thug behind the attack made off towards the A82 Great Western Road.

Police have called on those with dashcam footage to come forward.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Around 11.20am today, police were called to a report of a 41 year old man seriously injured on Heathcot Avenue, Drumchapel.

“He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth university Hospital where medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.

“Enquireies are ongoing and we'd ask anyone with information to get in touch on 101, particularly anyone driving on Great Western Road at that time who has dash cam footage is asked to contact the inquiry team.”
