POLICE are hunting for am an spotted setting a car alight in Paisley.
Shortly after midnight this morning, emergency services rushed to Castle Street after the Peugeot went up in flames.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and nobody was injured.

The man, who made off towards Argyle Street, is described as white, of slim build and was wearing dark clothing with the hood up.
Detective Sergeant Euan McMillan, Paisley CID, said: “Setting fires deliberately is extremely dangerous and reckless, it is fortunate that nobody was injured.
“We are currently checking CCTV and making door to door enquiries to trace the person responsible, however we are appealing to anyone who may have any information to come forward.

“Think back, were you woken during the night, or may have been out in your car in the area. Did you hear something, or could you have dash-cam footage that could help us?”
Witnesses are asked to call 101.
