A MAN who was found wandering the streets wearing nothing but a towel has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery bid.
The 29-year-old was discovered by police in Renfrew's Sunart Avenue around 8am this morning.

Officers linked the man to a botched robbery attempt at J&D Lifestyle shop on Paisley Road on Tuesday.
A shopkeeper was reportedly held up at knifepoint during the incident.

In a Facebook post, police said: "Early morning calls for a man in only a towel started the early cars shift.
"Once found on Sunart Avenue he was identified as the man who demanded money from a shopkeeper whilst holding a knife on Sunday."
